RECOMMENDED TACKLE

If you own your own gear…rods,reels,terminal tackle, etc, we encourage you to bring it with you.We recommend you bring the following:

• 1 medium/heavy six foot trolling rod with Penn 6/0 114H reel. 50 to 60 lb. test, Quality monofilment line.
• 1 medium action six to seven foot fiberglass casting/trolling rod with Penn 4/0 113H reel. 30 to 40 lb. test line.
• 1 light to medium six to seven foot casting rod with Penn 500 reel. 20 lb. to 25 lb. test line.
• Assorted jigs,feathers,Rapalas,Yo-Zuris for trolling, casting and yo-yo-ing.
• Bait hooks sizes range from 1/0,2/0,3/0 to 5/0,6/0,7/0,8/0,10/0 depending on bait available and species being targeted.
• Similar sized reels of other popular brands such as Avet, Shimano, Diawa or Accurate have all proven reliable.Two-Speed models are now more popular,  providing extra power for battling larger sized gamefish.
