Gordo Banks Pangas primary focus is on the Gordo Banks (locally referred to as the Wahoo Banks) and other fishing grounds towards the north, such as Cardon, La Fortuna, Iman, San Luis and Vinorama. Ideally situated at the gateway of the Sea of Cortez,these banks are considered the richest fishing grounds off of the Los Cabos region. Dependent on gamefish migrations, bait supply, currents and wind conditions, trips cover the areas from Cabo San Lucas to Vinorama.
Gordo Banks Pangas is located in the fishing village of La Playa, locals call this pueblo La Playita, resting on the eastern edge of a coastal lagoon at the mouth of the Rio San Jose.
